A yuppie that could pass for slightly older Pat Bateman (at first glance) 6 years after the time when American Psycho was set with a potential victim in the passenger's seat!

Come on. Bateman wouldn't drive a Toyota.

Patrick Bateman : Do you like Toyota Supras?
Paul Allen : They're OK.
Patrick Bateman : Their early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when the JZA80 came out in '93, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The Exhaust has a clear, crisp sound, and the sequential turbo's built with consummate professionalism that really gives the acceleration a big boost. They've been compared to Nissan GTR's, but I think Toyota's have a far more bitter, cynical driving experience.

That's what he wanted the cops to think. His limo's a lowly Lincoln, not even a foreign marque.

This seems more like Bateman's style to me.

How could it not be someone's style? But that does seem more yuppie-oriented. This is the only proof I have found of his existence past '87, although he must have used the spacious E34 at some point. BMW really came into its own, artistically and commercially, in 1988.

I'd have to take issue with you (and your re-badged Celica XX) there, but we can agree to disagree. The A60 was nice and made a sweet sound with its L6, but the reasons and number of reasons why I like it are different and fewer in number.

seriously though, I want a debadged white JZA80 with "Toyota SUPRA" written in Silian Rail font on tail.

Oh man now to explain what just made me audibly laugh...

We should carry on the whole Manual Transmissions in History thing, but do iconic movie-specific quotes and everything automotive-themed instead of general historic quotes relating to manual transmissions.

I used to have one. I miss it. Easily the best looking Supra, I agree.

And SO much fun to drive.
